How to play

One mission to do throughout the game is slicing vegatables or food and avoiding the chopping board. There are 3 hearts to survive. If you cut at choppingboard, you’ll lose 1 heart. If losing all, ‘Game over’. In some issues, if you do that, then you instantly lose the game.

To enjoy full experience, Wi-Fi must be turned on.

Not merely slicing vegetables

Surprisingly, this is not only about slicing vegetables, but also listening and following the music’s beat. In general, I was killing two birds with one stone. We not only choose a music to play, but I also change a type of knife or vegetables.

I like after cutting slices, the knife is put to pillow, as if I’m taking a rest after a hard-working day. This is one of the elemnts I like the most from the way these developers have done.

I also like the process of putting sliced foods to a big bowl, preparing for cooking with an icon of a happy cooker. These images make me feel like I’m starving and I wanna eat them now.

In addition, there are other things to slice, not just the foods. There were many non-food stuffs like electronics or gold to cut, and there was a scene of turning those sliced stuffs to many coins.

This game is also a great opportunity for me to to compete with friends to get higher ranks than others.

Switching to Resume, still running?

Strangely, when switching to Resume to try adjusting something, the gane is still running.  I wonder if I’m losing the process of the song. However, this merely happens in Leaderboard mode, not another music-playing mode that the app could pause the process.

Other experiences

I was pressing and holding when I got stopped. I wonder if it was because of holding too long that made my finger callous, thus the app can’t feel the sensitiveness.

Conclusion

Expectation from developers. The game could be better when a slice of food could be on beat with the song. Or even better if I could play slicing stuffs along with my own song, not just the songs that the app provided.

In general, this is one of the game I like the most,  because of such interesting combination between cutting foods and non-food stuffs and following music’s beat. Everything the developers contribute to this app gives a wonderful gaming experience from this app.
