Aeroplane Chess 3D – Childhood

If you are fan of strategic, puzzles, or childhood games, then this game is for you!

Introdution

This game reminds me of Pachisi in India, also a childhood that I’ve played with my relatives. However, there might be something different from Pachisi that I’ve never known before. Apparently, this game contains a coordination of both strategy and luck.

Voluntary choices

1. Changing themes

There were actually more than two background themes of the moving board and we can change the theme if we want.

2. Changing laws and color of airplanes

In this case, I choose two following options as considerable ones.

There were several laws that I can choose upon my interest, consisting of modern, classic, and two custom laws. Each of laws has each disparities in some cases. I can even EDIT certains rules of the game as I want, as I’ve mentioned custom laws.

There was another voluntary option of choosing whatever color I wanna play. I can either choose four of any color containing red, green, yellow and blue.

My personal experiences

No need to read rules

I usulally played such games WITHOUT finding out rules. Trying to figure out myself is better than finding a cheat code, despite the fact that not reading rules can be miserably hard. For example, I don’t why Bonus turn is allowed, jump through another movement or any rules are executed like this and that.

Finding out the rules by playing and understanding what’s going on

However, after trying to figure out how I play this game, I could perceive somehow why that’s the way it goes. The bonus turn is, for example, allowed when the dice rolls at number 6. If the airplane moves and stop at the same color of a certain point, the airplane will jump through the same color. More beneficial thing associated with this case is when the airplane stops at the same color with a broken line, airplane will go through that line to reduce the distance to each appropriate color of arrow.

2,5,6 – Hard to roll

One of the most difficult process in this app is when trying to start my steps by rolling at 2,5,6 depending on certain law.

My increasing anxiety for my airplane

If two or more than two airplanes go together, if reach to fianl step in the arrow, the airplane will win sooner than just one airplane. Just like I could make a profit from selling good product with good set of strategic planning.

I don’t wanna set another airplane while the current airplane is not finished at the arrow yet, because I’m afraid that the more of my airplanes to “hit the field”, the more possibility of getting kicked out if another airplane stand at the same point from mine according to modern law.

Other

When getting into the arrow to finish, staying at 3 and trying to reach 3 more to succeed, for example, the dice rolls at 4 or 5, the airplane will retreat 1 step miss.

Graphic deisgn

The UI design for the content of each modes is transparent, which is an interesting choice of developers helping me see through the board as a whole.

Sound effect

Developers have a great choice of choosing appropriate sound effects for certain airplaines’ movement, increasing its drama of the game. One of the sound I’m amazed the most was when the airplane kicked another airplane out of the board.

Other

The rolling dice is obviously programmed, so we couldn’t see that natural movement as we’re playing this game in reality.

Conclusion

This game is worth playing because of composing strategy and luck.
